Craig Wilson
Craig has
been a part of the Boys & Girls Club movement since
December 2005. Craig started off as a work study
student while attending Bates Technical College. He
graduated with his Associates Degree with studies in
the Wireless and Advanced Communications program.
While working part time at the Lakewood Branch,
Craig found his passion working with our youth.
In July of 2007 he was hired as the first Teen
Director at the new HOPE Center and in April 2008
transferred to South Pierce County as their new Teen
Director. He very much enjoys working with and guiding our teens.
Craig grew
up in Tacoma, WA. He graduated from Steilacoom High
School in 1999. Eager to join the Navy, Craig
enlisted in August of 1999 and began his five year
journey as an Information Systems Technician. After
serving his country in many parts of the world
including Iraq and Afghanistan, and seeing places
like Paris and Australia, Craig decided to come back
home to be with his family.
Craig has
two brothers, and four nieces and nephews. He also
has younger twin sisters who attend the Tumwater
Boys & Girls Club. Craig is happily expecting a
newborn this April and is engaged to be married in
November.
In his spare
time, Craig likes to play flag football on a team he
has been with for three years. He also enjoys
watching football, baseball, basketball and soccer.
Most of all, he enjoys spending time at home with
his family.
