Jacque Keating

Jacque joined the staff of the Boys & Girls of South Puget Sound in September 1998 as the Associate to the President/CEO.

She grew up in Parkland and has lived the last 35 years in Puyallup.  After working many years in the banking industry, she spent the next 16 years as a stay-at-home mom raising her 3 children, assisting at their schools whenever needed and overseeing the women’s ministries in her church.  Jacque reentered the job market in 1992 as the assistant to the owner/president of a large manufacturing firm in the Port of Tacoma.  It was by a chance meeting that Jacque heard about a position with the BGCSPS and interviewed with Gary Yazwa.

Her primary focus is assisting in the implementation of the President/CEO responsibilities as he leads us in our $60 million “it just takes ONE” Campaign.  She also acts as a liaison between the Executive/Corporate Board, community leaders and the Organization.  She is responsible for organizing and overseeing our monthly board meetings, our annual board dinner and annual retreat.  Jacque is also a support to the Foundation Board and Planned Giving Committee.

In her leisure time Jacque collects and sells antiques.  But her greatest joy is spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and 96 year old mom.
