Kyle
Eggenberger
Kyle has
always had an interest in the recreational
community. From the time he was 5 years old he has
been enrolled in athletics, whether it be football,
basketball or baseball. Kyle graduated from
Burlington-Edison High School in 2004 and enrolled
at Pacific Lutheran University where he played
football for a year before deciding to focus on his
education. He will graduate with a BA in Recreation
in May 2008. Without football, Kyle wondered how he
could mentor kids and still be involved in the
athletic field. This opportunity came in 2006
when he started working at the Al Davies Branch and
knew that the Boys & Girls Club was the path to an
enjoyable and rewarding career. Unfortunately,
Kyle’s work study ran out, but he was offered and
accepted a part time position at the Lakewood Branch
as the Sports, Fitness and Recreation Director.
Shortly after taking this position, the Al Davies
Program Director position opened and it was the
perfect opportunity to get back to the Club and the
kids that made Kyle want to pursue this career.
Kyle was awarded this position and he intends to be
with this organization for many years to come. |
