Rachel grew up in the Tacoma/Puyallup area graduating from Rogers High School in 1991. From there she worked various jobs until becoming a mother in 1995. She then stayed at home to raise her children. She reentered the workforce again in 2003. Deciding that she needed to work in more fulfilling position, she began a search in non-profit organizations and by chance a position became open at The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound.

Rachel joined the Boys and Girls Club of South Puget Sound in October of 2004 where she started as the Front Desk Receptionist. In January 2006 she was promoted to Chief Operations Associate as well as assisting the Human Resource Department. For Rachel, she feels like she has found a second family here with the Boys and Girls Club.

She now resides in Milton with her husband and three children.
