Sierra Raynor
Sierra began working at The Boys & Girls Club of South Puget Sound in March 2001 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining the staff fulltime, Sierra volunteered at the
Club overseeing recreational and educational activities.
Sierra’s interest in the
Club started as a result of her two sons participating in activities sponsored by the
Club. She has seen the positive impact The Boys & Girls Club has on children, and feels honored to be a part of a system that mentors children & helps them develop skills to ensure their success as adults. Sierra assists the children in a variety of ways from coordinating extra-curricular activities, and she has even coached basketball teams in the past.
Sierra grew up in the Tacoma area, and she believes strongly in giving something back to the community. Working at the Boys & Girls Club allows her to contribute to the development of South Sound youths. The biggest reward she receives from her work is seeing, the excitement, pride, and joy on the faces of the children as they grow up and experience success!
