Stacy Dore
West Sound Director of Special Projects
Stacy
was raised in a small town in Northeast Iowa and her
involvement with community was a strong focus of her
upbringing. The importance of having a kind spirit,
caring about others and lending a hand when needed
are values she passes on to her children today.
Upon
graduating high school, Stacy received her
undergraduate degree from Winona State University
and later received her Masters in Business
Administration in Phoenix, Arizona.
Throughout the past twenty-five years, Stacy has
been an Executive Director for several private
educational institutions in Arizona and Washington
states. She served as the Director of Marketing and
Sales for KPS Health Plans in Bremerton for 6 years
and then became the Worldwide Director of
Marketing, Communications and Sales for Boxlight
Corporation a technology organization located in
Poulsbo.
Throughout Stacy’s career she has always been
actively involved in community. In Arizona she
worked with the United Way and upon moving to
Washington State in 1992 has become actively
involved in numerous organizations.
Stacy’s
board involvement includes Kitsap Mental Health
Services Foundation, Leadership Kitsap, Kitsap
County Humane Society, Olympic College Foundation,
Olympic Peninsula Kidney Center, and the Bremerton
Area Chamber of Commerce.
Stacy
has a passion for kids, education, animals and the
environment. She and husband John have one child,
Jack. They have three stepchildren, five
grandchildren and two spoiled, old dogs. |
