Toni Whitehead
Hello, my name is Toni
Whitehead, and I have been a resident of Tacoma,
Washington for 26 years. I am married and have six
children. People are very important to my husband
and me. As I fight the wars in our own community,
my husband fights wars abroad, due to his military
career. As the Program Coordinator in 2002-2003, I
lead intervention programs like, Smart Girls and
Smart Moves, where I recognized the growth and
maturity in the kids through these programs. I also
supervised other programs lead by Junior Staff like,
Journey to Manhood. When needed, I would assist
Power Hour, tutoring kids ranging from ages 6-15.
It is my pleasure to serve the community that I
reside. My top priority and goal is to encourage
children to reach their full potential to be
successful citizens as adults. Thank you for this
wonderful opportunity to serve you. I feel it’s a
great honor and privilege to be the Al Davies Branch
Program Director.
