Virginia Clark

Virginia grew up in a small rural town in western North Dakota.  She graduated from the University of  North Dakota with a BA in Social Work and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Eastern Washington University.  She has lived and worked in California, New York, North Dakota and Montana.  Virginia traveled extensively in the 70s and early 80s landing in Washington in 1984 where she has lived and worked ever since.

Her human resource management experience includes over 20 years in the not-for-profit service related fields including social services, health care and now, youth development services.  From 1990 to 2000 Virginia was a part-time instructor for Tacoma Community College in their Human Services Program. 

Virginia joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound in April of 2005 as their Director of Human Resources.  She finds great joy in working with the staff and being part of the mission and the movement of the Boys & Girls Clubs.  She looks forward to many happy and exciting years with the organization.

 Virginia and her husband live in Tacoma and have four adult children and one very special grandson.  Leisure time is usually spent together and with family.  You will often find them at Titlow Park walking their two dogs and enjoying the fresh air and scenery.
