Program Specialists

Port Orchard, North Mason and Bremerton Clubs have received an AmeriCorps grant for 4 full-time positions starting in September.  These are Program Specialist positions responsible for a variety of tasks including marketing the program, public relations, tutoring youth, running programs and some administrative duties.  Each individual receives a $925 (gross) stipend each month or $462.50 every two weeks.  The commitment is for 10.5 months and individuals must be between 18 and 25 years old.  If he/she serves 1,700 hours within the allowed time commitment an educational award of $4,723 is granted to either apply to student loans or to continue their education.  To apply please send resume and cover letter to loughlinm@bg-clubs.com.
