At the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound there are many opportunities to volunteer. Everyone has different talents.  Are you interested in using your talent to impact the life of a child?

Opportunities working with Kids

Club Activities: Boys & Girls Clubs offer activities for every child with every type of interest. Volunteers are needed to assist program staff with the arts; technology; education and career development; health and life skills; character and leadership development; sports, fitness and recreation; and so much more.  Clubs are open Monday through Friday after school and summers during the day. Help make a difference in the life of a child.

Athletics: We offer a wide variety of sports for kids which could not be provided without the help of volunteers. Volunteers are needed as coaches, referees score keepers and to run concessions.

Opportunities working with Adults

Special Events: Is your talent in planning special events? Participate in the annual Campaign for Kids Lunch, National Kids at Hope Day, the Scholarship Recognition Banquet or a variety of other events.

Advisory Boards: Are you interested in working in your community? Do you enjoy fundraising and working on special projects? Help make positive decisions that will impact the lives of children within the community by joining a Club’s Advisory Board.

Administrative Support: Even if you are not sure about working directly with children, we have ways for volunteers to make a difference. Often times what we need volunteers for is Club leadership, data entry, mailings, phones and front counter assistance. These volunteer positions are available at the Clubs and our Administrative Service Center.
